Bike Service

Doctor Mike's provides bike service on all types, makes and models. With 48-hour turnaround and free pick-up and delivery, you can't go wrong. Need new brake pads, a rear-view traffic mirror or a new bike computer? We stock many commonplace bike parts and can have anything else you might need in less than two days. Not sure if you want to spend money on a bike that might not be worth fixing? We provide complimentary service estimates and the best prices around, so you can be sure your money is well spent.

Tune-Ups:

Your bike is a vehicle, and just like your car, every so often it needs service. A tune-up will make your bike safer, run smoother and last longer.

Basic Tune-Up $59.95

Recommended for newer bikes, or those tuned up within the last four years.

• Frame, fork and component safety check
• Adjustment of cable actuated brakes and derailleurs
• Minor wheel truing (in frame)
• Lubrication of cables and chain
• Tire inspection and inflation
• Frame clean and polish

Drive-train Tune-Up $79.99

Recommended for older bikes, and those not serviced in the last four years.

Includes Basic Tune-Up plus the following:

• Regreasing/tightening of all crank, headset, or hub bearings
• Major wheel truing (out of frame)
• Brake or derailleur cable replacement
• Complete frame, fork and wheel clean and polish

Complete Overhaul $139.99

Complete rebuild of a bike from the ground up. Includes Drivetrain Overhaul plus the following:

• Removal, cleaning and regreasing of all components
• Facing of bottom bracket shell and head tube (if necessary)
• Installation of new cables and housing
• Complete re-assembly of cleaned parts to original or new frame

BMX Tune-Up $40.00

For BMX bicycles.

• Complete safety check and minor cleaning of frame and fork.
• Inspection and adjustment of bottom bracket, brakes, crank set, hubs, pedals, and freewheel.
• Minor wheel truing.
• Lube cables and chain.

Child's Bike (16" Wheel or Smaller) Tune-Up $30.00

For single speed bikes.

• Complete safety check and wipe down.
• Inspect and adjust brakes and drive-train, re-lube as needed.
• Tighten all connections and fasteners.

Ski/Snowboard Service

Doctor Mike's provides free repair estimates on any ski/snowboard, and we service all types, makes and models. In most cases, we can get your Ski/Snowboard sharpened and returned to your home in 48 hours. (More time may be required if we have to order parts.)

Wax & Sharpen $30.00

• Base and side edge sharpening to manufacturer's specs
• No base repair
• Universal base wax

Basic Tune $35.00

• 1° side, .5° base bevels
• Base grind
• Minor p-tex repair (less than 2 inches)
• Universal base wax

Stone Grind $45.00

• 1° side, .5° base bevels
• Base Grind
• Major p-tex repair (more than 2 inches)
• Stone base pattern application
• Base Wax Option (Universal or temperature specific)

Race Tune $50.00

• Same services as Stone Grind plus
• Hand-filed side and base edges
• Ironed-in wax (your choice) and scrape
• Hand brush base preparation
